This USB 2.0 based system converts your Windows 7, Vista or XP laptop into a complete 4 channel audio / video surveillance digital video recorder (DVR) for 4 CCTV cameras. The included SecurityCenter software allows viewing and recording of up to 4 security cameras on your computer, with or without motion detection. The included SecurityPlayer software allows remote internet access.Unlike most 4 channel video capture cards this USB 2.0 box also captures 4 channels of audio and comes with Microsoft WHQL certified Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit drivers. This allows use with third party DVR software such as BlueIris and LuxRiot if no more than 2 channels are used.Video quality is excellent. 4 channels can be captured at an incredibly fast 240 fps in CIF resolution or a total of 20 fps in VGA (640x480) resolution.If you need 4 channels at full 30 fps each, consider our SCXSC300 card which supports 16 switched or 4 full motion video inputs. USB 2.0 cable and RCA adapter cables for audio jacks are included.If needed, RCA/BNC adapters or video cables are available separately and not included. Unit ships in OEM white box with manual on CD.Note: Fully supported on Windows 7 32 and 64, Vista 32 and XP. Not supported on Server 2003, 2008, 2010, or emulated or virtual versions of Windows, 64 bit Windows older than Windows 7, or any Windows version older than XP. Operation on older USB 1.0 or USB 1.1 ports is NOT supported. Before ordering, please make sure you have a USB 2.0 connection on your laptop, and that you are not planning to use a USB hub, docking station, or other device between your computer's USB port and this DVR unit. Also, this USB box requires a fairly recent processor such as the Intel Core series. Please do not order this item for laptops more than 5 years old as they may not be powerful enough.
